The weather is getting colder, the days are getting shorter – but we are still lighting up our lives through dance!  Dance is a great way to remember we are all connected, to life and each other.

Thanksgiving is approaching, and I feel really blessed and grateful to look into the refrigerator and see fresh, healthy, and good food in abundance.  Truly I am because I know not everyone has that experience.  I am grateful to share my gifts and passions for dance.  And, I am blessed to be able to offer classes and workshops, help strengthen relationships through dance, work with our youth and seniors and be able to put on events that engage and uplift us all!

One of my favorite events is our Sunday Social that I co-host with Jerome Williams.  And, Lavaina Productions provides the hottest in new school and old school Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cha Cha Cha, and Kizomba!

On our November 15th Sunday Social, we will be dancing to fill the Food Bank of WNY! They offer such a vital service to our community and with Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, we can share our blessings and help to feed our community.

Bring 2 (or more) non-perishable food items to donate to the food bank and get $2.00 off the cost of the social! This is a great way to share and give thanks this holiday season! Come Dance with us and fill the food bank’s shelves!

See you this Sunday.  And, we’ll be saying farewell to a staple dancer in the Buffalo Latin dance scene, Alex Eletski.  So come grab a dance with Alex before he heads off to new horizons!
