A Labyrinth at Your Home
Walk The Path, Find Your Center
An ancient practice of meditation and contemplation, a labyrinth provides a single path inward to the center and then back out again. A metpahor for life, walking the labyrinth can provide clarity, support and solace at any time of your day or night.
What is a Labyrinth
A Path To The Center
A labyrinth is an unicursal pathway, which means there is one pathway in and out, unlike a maze, which has many pathways that you have to find your way through. With a labyrinth, you simply walk and can allow your Higher Power to work with and through you. The winding route slows the mind, settles the nervous system, and draws you gently into a contemplative state. Take your time. Stop to pause, if you’d like. Connect with your Higher Power.
Many traditions, including Christian, Celtic, and Indigenous, have used labyrinths as a tool for prayer, meditation, and discernment. Today, they can be used for many different reasons: to heal, to process difficult emotions or experiences, to gain clarity on an important decision, to find peace and to cultivate understanding.
The labyrinth is a way to connect intentionally with yourself, your Higher Power and life around you. Receive the guidance your Higher Power has for you. Return to your center.
Walkable Labyrinths
Bring this practice onto your land
Sarah creates full-scale labyrinths mown or marked directly onto lawns and in garden spaces. A permanent or seasonal labyrinth in your own backyard, at your community center or place of worship, becomes a living sacred space, available to you, your family, and your community, any time you need to walk yourself back to your center.
Residential lawns
Mown or marked in the grass of your yard. Any size space considered.
Retreat centres
Permanent installations for churches, wellness centers, or retreat spaces.
Events & workshops
Temporary labyrinths for community gatherings, workshops, or seasonal celebrations.
Labyrinth Coaching & Contemplative Spiritual Retreats
In addition, Sarah can support you and your family or community in learning how to utilize the labyrinth, through coaching and contemplative spiritual sessions and retreats.
